The GS5201-1 Portable GNSS Timekeeper is a miniaturized, portable, high-precision mobile timekeeping device primarily designed for shipborne equipment.

Its biggest advantage is its AC/DC compatible capability; equipped with a battery, it can operate continuously for over 2 hours without mains power. It outputs one programmable pulse signal, one odd two-second signal, two even two-second signals, and two B(AC) time code outputs. The device incorporates a high-precision Beidou/GPS dual-mode receiver, receiving GNSS satellite signals to discipline the built-in clock source (rubidium clock), enabling it to output high-precision time information and synchronize with satellite signals.

Furthermore, the device features an autonomous timekeeping function; when an external reference is lost, the device automatically switches to timekeeping holdover mode with high accuracy, making it suitable for use as a small portable clock. It also has remote network monitoring capabilities.

  • Miniaturized and portable design with a dedicated handle for easy carrying in the field;
    It has both AC and DC power supply modes, and AC power supply is given priority when both AC and DC are presented;

  • Equipped with a dedicated lithium battery box, it can be flexibly charged and the battery level can be monitored. The battery life is ≥2 hours after the AC power is cut off. It can be used as a miniaturized transport clock with high timekeeping accuracy;

  • Multiple time synchronization methods: output 1 channel 1PPS standard second signal, 2 channels odd two-second signals, 2 channels even two-second signals, 1 channel programmable arbitrary pulse, 2 channels B (AC) time code, etc.;

  • The built-in high-precision Beidou GPS dual mode receiver provides the device with standard timing pulse signals and serial port time information as the device's reference standard. It uses intelligent algorithms to discipline the internal rubidium clock so that its output of

  • 1PPS second is synchronized with the satellite signal;

  • It features a built-in high-performance rubidium atomic clock and employs a high-precision timekeeping algorithm to achieve high-precision timekeeping functionality;

  • It has a power-on self-test function to check the working status of each module;

  • The front panel is equipped with an LCD screen that displays the year, month, day, hour, minute, and second time information, as well as system operating status information. The operating status of each module can be queried;

  • The device has the ability to manually select the reference source, working mode, time synchronization method, clock setting, leap second, time zone, and other functions;

  • It has a remote network monitoring function, which allows users to monitor the status of various signals and set parameters of the device remotely via the network;

  • It features programmable pulse setting function, which can be programmed to output a pulse at intervals of 3 seconds, 4 seconds, etc. (minimum is one pulse per second, maximum is one pulse every 20 seconds, and the default period is 1PPS). The leading edge of the pulse is aligned with the 1pps signal;

  • It features indicator lights that can show power status, internal working status of the device, etc., making it very intuitive.
